Humorous autobiography of life on a wilderness chicken ranch with author's Marine husband, made into a movie in 1947, starring Fred MacMurray and Claudette Colbert. This copy is remarkable for its Fine condition despite its date of pubn. Pair it with a better DJ & you have an outstanding copy. The only flaw in cover is a slight bulge at front lower corner where book may have been bumped, or was originally made that way. 287 pp
