Scarce. Publisher information and date are on a loose end paper. Illustrator of front cover picture is Eliza Curtis. Cover completely detached, pages loosening. Signatures have original sewn-in string. Not paginated. Leaves are not boards, they are paper. These stories found in another edition are absent: A False Face (follows On the Fence) and In the Street Car (follows Caught In the Rain). Either they were removed or never included. Cover color illustrated, entitled Rainy Day Stories. Full title taken from title page. Some of the b/w illustrations are colored with crayons. Other crayon and some pencil marks present.
